TRY BEFORE YOU BUY The A Rocha Friends' Art Rental

The Enviroart and A Rocha "Friends" art rental scheme makes it possible for members to satisfy themselves completely that a piece is something they would like to purchase, or return it (in good condition) without embarrassment.

Membership is open to anyone who is known to A Rocha UK through the "Friends" scheme. They will therefore be on the organisation's database. They will register through the website so we will have some control on who is receiving work in this way.

Registration is by means of a £25.00 fee made payable to "Enviroart Gallery".

Rentals are in two bands:-

• a) Normal rental - £10 per month
• b) For some more expensive pieces of art published - £20 per month.

The scheme member (Rentor) is responsible for transport costs of the piece of art. In most cases it is held by the artist, but this can be determined on enquiry. In most cases the art is held in the UK.

The Rentor is responsible for the safekeeping of the art including insurance (unless the art is especially valuable this is easily incorporated into a householders contents insurance policy).

Payment is by monthly Standing Order.

Art may be returned at any time and upon receipt, the Standing Order can be cancelled, or may be replaced by another piece off the website.

Only art which is marked as "available for rent" and is not already "on hire" will be available under the scheme.

Once the rental payments equal the listed price of the painting, the rentor has the option to keep the painting and cancel the Standing Order.
